Who are We?

Without strategy -- creativity is child’s play. Without creativity -- strategy is just plain boring. We believe strongly that our “special sauce” combination of strategic thinking and out of the ordinary creativity is what allows us to meet and exceed client expectations again and again.

At Welfeld Public Relations (WPR) we view ourselves as part of your team rather than an outside agency. We take on very few clients at a time and put great care into our work. We pride ourselves on being able to surprise you with amazing results!

We love doing pr in a variety of industries and have strong experience working with companies in the consumer, food, fashion, financial and not-for-profit sectors among others. WPR is known for helping both emerging start-ups and internationally known brands increase exposure and improve brand reputation. In addition to media relations and strategic marketing solutions, WPR readily plans major events and negotiates strategic partnerships. We assist with beta trials, online social networking and new product launches. We are also frequently tapped for our combined expertise in media training, speech writing, internal communications, copywriting and crisis management.

Who are “we”?

WPR is run by Ilya Welfeld, a public relations expert with more than a decade of experience helping clients communicate with the public. Ilya takes the lead on all accounts and is supported by public relations professionals who form virtual teams for each account and project. These “virtual teams” are made up of senior pr executives with expertise in specific industries and work on a freelance basis for WPR. This model enables us to bring together the right team for the right client every time.
